I am a qualified bereavement counsellor with six years experience offering support to loved ones struggling or coming to terms with being a carer, and family and friends going through bereavement.
I counsel young people, from juniors up to and including university students, privately and within an organisation based in my area.
I use play and talking therapy to explore how life feels when clients struggle with anxiety, food disorders, family dynamics, autism, Asperger's, bullying, peer pressure, depression, confidence and PTSD.
Online, I support a breast cancer forum, helping both men and women share their fears during and after treatment, supporting and helping individuals as they share their concerns for the future. (I have empathy for their journey as a survivor of Cancer myself).
I attend supervision regularly, and keep myself up to date with relevant training courses, current practices and techniques.
